As an ethnobotanist and shamanic practitioner/energy worker, I am interested in connecting with the spirit or subtle energy of a plant through the artistic process. I especially love working with cold wax & oil paints because layers can be built up and then drawn into with a brush, stylus or scraper. Similarly, plants have different levels of meaning that reveal themselves to us when we are ready to explore them.
