Lithographs require a complicated set up, whereas monoprints can be created almost anywhere with the simplest of materials. About both, I like how each print will be a ‘one-of’ even in subtle ways. I vary the prints by using different types of paper, some hand-made; each paper gives a particular character to its print, revealing different marks and qualities of the substrate.
